Centini, (570) 602-2000 Avoca, PA - Allegiant, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport's newest airline, would like everyone to "Vote for Vacation" this September. The Las Vegas-based travel company's "Vote for Vacation" tour bus will make a campaign stop at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport this Thursday (September 20th), inviting our area residents to cast their vote for their favorite vacation destination. Allegiant, along with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and WKRZ-FM, will host a live radio remote with games, prizes and offer a chance to win two roundtrip tickets on Allegiant. In addition, Allegiant will give the first 100 people who attend the event a special tax break — a coupon for $21.60, the amount of federal taxes for round-trip airfare — for use on a future vacation package with Allegiant. Allegiant’s "Vote for Vacation" tour is being conducted throughout the month of September across the entire country. One voter at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport will win two round-trip tickets to the destination they cast their vote for. Nationwide, Allegiant will give one grand prize: free flights on Allegiant for four years! To register, please arrive outside the Joseph M. McDade Terminal Building at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. One winner for the round-trip tickets for two will be announced on-air at the Airport. There is a limit of one registration per person, people must be present and 21 years of age or older to win. Additional rules and restrictions apply.
