Centini, (570) 602-2000 Avoca, PA - Travelers using AVP now have additional options to the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and beyond. Beginning February 11, 2009, Northwest Airlink will add a 12:15 PM weekday departure, which arrives in Detroit at 2:07 PM. Also, the new flight leaves Detroit at 10:19 AM and arrives at AVP at 11:45 AM. Northwest Airlink carrier Pinnacle Airlines operates the service with 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft. The new service complements the two existing daily departures to Detroit from AVP; one at 6:00 AM, and the other at 4:05 PM.
