Flights will begin June 7, 2008 and operate through August 23, 2008. Myrtle Beach Direct Air will offer service on Wednesdays and Saturdays with fares starting at $99* each way. Myrtle Beach is the second largest family summer vacation destination in the United States. "We're happy to come to Northeast Pennsylvania to assist Southern Skyways travelers flying from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to the Myrtle Beach area", said Judy Tull, CEO of Myrtle Beach Direct Air. Myrtle Beach Direct Air began providing scheduled pubic charter flights in March 2007, servicing over 70,000 passengers in 2007.
