Southern Skyways announced yesterday seasonal non-stop jet service between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) and Myrtle Beach, SC. Flights will begin May 21, 2008 and operate through Labor Day. Southern Skyways will initially offer service on Wednesdays and Saturdays with fares ranging from $79 to $129* each way, depending upon availability at the time seats are booked. Myrtle Beach is the second largest family summer vacation destination in the United States.
