SOUTHERN SKYWAYS INTRODUCES NON-STOP JET SERVICE BETWEEN WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON, PA AND MYRTLE BEACH, SC

Non-Stop Flights to Myrtle Beach Begin May 21, 2008

January 23, 2008, Atlanta, Georgia. - Southern Skyways, a scheduled public charter operated by Primaris Airlines, announced today seasonal non-stop jet service between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) and Myrtle Beach, SC. Flights will begin May 21, 2008 and operate through Labor Day. Southern Skyways will initially offer service on Wednesdays and Saturdays with fares ranging from $79 to $129* each way, depending upon availability at the time seats are booked. Myrtle Beach is the second largest family summer vacation destination in the United States.

"We believe that the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area is a primary market for Myrtle Beach, especially during the summertime for family vacations," said Cary Evans, executive vice president of Southern Skyways. "Our research has found that Myrtle Beach vacationers currently either drive to another airport for non-stop service or just drive to Myrtle Beach by automobile. As a result, we see the opportunity to meet this known demand here and in other markets where non-stop jet service to Myrtle Beach is not available."

"The Airport has looked forward to the return of non-stop service to Myrtle Beach and the benefits it will bring to Northeastern Pennsylvania and our area travelers," said Barry Centini, AVP Airport Director. "The return of Myrtle Beach service certainly demonstrates the area support of low fare service to places people in Northeastern Pennsylvania want to go."

According to Suzan Desotelle, Vice President of Airline and Airport Operations, "Southern Skyways will offer round-trip flights from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) and Myrtle Beach using large passenger jets that offer safe, reliable and equivalent service of the major airlines." Ms. Desotelle added, "The schedule is designed to provide the maximum time at the destination and the opportunity for three, four or seven night stays in Myrtle Beach."

The planned schedule is:

Wednesday 441 AVP MYR 6:00 pm 7:30 pm
  442 MYR AVP 3:45 pm 5:15 pm
