US AIRWAYS ADDS ADDITIONAL FLIGHTS FROM AVP TO CHARLOTTE
Avoca, PA (September 25, 2007) -- Travelers using AVP now have additional options to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

US Airways has scheduled an additional non-stop daily flight to Charlotte beginning October 7, 2007. The new evening flight to Charlotte will depart AVP at 6:45 PM, and arrive in Charlotte at 8:47 PM. US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines will operate the service with 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.

The morning departure to Charlotte will continue to depart AVP at 8:40 AM, and arrive in Charlotte at 10:20 AM. US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines will operate the service with an upgraded 70-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft effective October 8, 2007.

In addition, a third weekend flight will be added in November. US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines will operate the service with an upgraded 70-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.

The additional flights bring US Airways' total weekly departures from AVP to 55: 39 to Philadelphia and 16 to Charlotte.

The daily seats to Charlotte will increase from 50 to 120. This is a 140% increase in seats per day from AVP.
