DELTA CONNECTION ADDS DAILY FLIGHT FROM AVP TO ATLANTA

Avoca, PA (April 24, 2007) – Travelers using the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport will soon have additional options to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Delta Connection has scheduled one additional non-stop daily flight to Atlanta.

Beginning on June 7, 2007, Delta Connection will add a 5:25 PM daily departure, which arrives in Atlanta at 7:47 PM. Also, the new flight will leave Atlanta at 2:51 PM and arrive at AVP at 5:00 PM. Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines will operate the service with 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.

The additional flights bring Delta Connection’s total weekly departures from AVP to 38: 20 to Atlanta; and 18 to Cincinnati.
