US AIRWAYS ADDS WEEKEND FLIGHTS FROM AVP TO CHARLOTTE

Avoca, PA (April 10, 2007) – Travelers using the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport will soon have additional options to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

US Airways has scheduled one additional non-stop daily flight to Charlotte on both Saturday and Sunday.

Beginning on May 6, 2007, US Airways will add a 4:50 PM Sunday departure, which arrives in Charlotte at 6:29 PM. Also, the new Sunday flight will leave Charlotte at 2:35 PM and arrive at AVP at 4:15 PM. US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines will operate the service with 70-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.

Beginning on May 12, 2007, US Airways will add a 2:51 PM Saturday departure, which arrives in Charlotte at 4:45 PM. Also, the new Saturday flight will leave Charlotte at 12:44 PM and arrive at AVP at 2:22 PM. US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines will operate the service with 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.

The additional flights bring US Airways' total weekly departures from AVP to 65: 40 to Philadelphia; 16 to Pittsburgh; and nine to Charlotte.
