HOOTERS AIR ANNOUNCES NEW SERVICE FROM AVP TO MYRTLE BEACH
Avoca, PA (February 3, 2006) -- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport announced today that Hooters Air will commence new service from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport to Myrtle Beach beginning March 9, 2006, with direct service four days a week.

Hooters Air is continuing non-stop service from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to Orlando International Airport two day a week, as well as non-stop and direct service to Ft. Lauderdale four days a week, and direct service to Clearwater/Tampa Bay four days a week.

“The return of Myrtle Beach service is great news for Northeastern Pennsylvania travelers”, stated Barry Centini, Airport Director. “Most flights will conveniently depart in the morning and return in the evening, which will allow our travelers to spend a full day vacationing and golfing instead of traveling.”
